Makenzie is a graduate of Oklahoma State University, where she earned her undergraduate degree in Strategic Communications and Sports Media. Complemented by a minor in Marketing. She pursued a master's degree in Educational Leadership and Policy Studies at the University of Texas. She bleeds orange and black. GO POKES!

 

After completing her education, Makenzie dedicated seven years of her professional life to special education, teaching students from kindergarten to twelfth grade. Her passion for fostering an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs demonstrated her commitment to making a difference in the lives of those she served.

In her most recent role, Makenzie transitioned into the corporate world, bringing her wealth of experience to the oil and gas industry as an executive assistant. Her role demanded a keen attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to navigate the complexities of the business world.

Makenzie grew up in Prosper, Texas and now resides in Dallas, Texas. She has a passion for building positive relationships, attending Oklahoma State and Dallas sporting events, and spending time with friends and family.
